Dental checks are important to help detect signs of tooth decay and other problems early before they become bigger problems. Vitality Health members 18 years and older can earn up to 1 000 Vitality points for completing a dental health check once a year.

- Schedule your appointment with your dentist
- Certain costs apply
- If you are on a Medical Scheme plan that covers the cost, you will need to pay for it upfront. You can claim this amount from your day-to-day benefits and if you have funds available. If you are a Discovery Life policyholder, you will need to pay for your dental check-ups upfront.

Contact your dentist to have the check-up done. Vitality Health members 18 years and older can earn up to 1 000 Vitality points for completing a dental health check once a year.
If you claimed for your dental health check from a medical scheme plan administered by Discovery Health (Pty) Ltd, we will receive your results automatically and will award your points. If not, please submit a claim for your Vitality points on our website.
