Your privacy matters
In line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), we are taking every precaution to make sure that we protect your personal information. This article provides an overview of the privacy tools and protective measures we have implemented, such as the Secure Inbox and Secure PDFs, and guides you on where to find the latest privacy statement, Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) Manual and other relevant documents.
Privacy tools and protective measures
Secure Inbox: We ensure that all communication containing personal information is properly secured and accessible only to the intended individuals. Our Secure Inbox solution, available in the Remedi app and on the website, requires a password to access your information, keeping it private and secure.
Secure PDFs: When we send emails containing personal information in PDF attachments, we add an additional layer of security through encryption. You will need a password (either your identity number or date of birth) to open and view the document. This encryption remains in place even if you forward the document to someone else, such as your financial adviser.
