Introducing the latest Discovery Life campaign
The new campaign for Discovery Life launched on 24 May 2015. The new TV commercial for Discovery Life is a breath of fresh air in the traditionally conservative life insurance market.
The story
It opens on a colony of penguins who look down at heart, miserable, inactive and disconnected from each other. Our hero penguin makes a bold entrance and immediately starts to encourage and reward healthy behaviour amongst the members of the colony. After some initial resistance, the other penguins suddenly get it and start exercising and eating healthier. The whole colony becomes much fitter, healthier and happier. The commercial ends on a family portrait of the hero penguin amongst his children and grandchildren indicating that he has lived a long, healthy and happy life.
The message
"Discovery Life encourages and rewards healthy behaviour. Because more health means more years and more life.”
